This is a beautiful story of Guruvayurappan. Once there lived in Guruvayur a poor family. Kitta along with his wife and kids were struggling for their daily needs. With only a coconut tree in the house, he earned a living by selling coconuts. Kitta was from a low caste family. He was a great devotee of Guruvayurappan. Everyday before going to work he always prayed infront of a picture of Guruvayurappan in his house. His only wish was to worship at Guruvayur and have annadanam in temple. But he was not allowed because of his caste. 

It was Utsavam time in Guruvayur. From far behind kitta and family worshipped Guruvayurappan. Annadanam was given daily and no one was left empty stomach. Only Kitta didn't receive that. That night, it was only Kitta's family who was sleeping with empty stomach. After temple nada closed Shri Krishna, dressed himself as a Brahmin went to temple Kitchen. He packed food and went directly to kitta's house. Reaching Kitta's house, Shri Krishna told he was sent by a cook of Guruvayur temple and gave them the food he packed. Kitta and family was very happy seeing the food and ate it all. When Kitta finished his food, Brahmin asked it will be better if he get tender coconut( karikku)to drink. Kitta climbed the tree and gave all coconuts to him. 

After having 1 tender coconut, the Brahmin asked to bring remaining coconuts to Guruvayur temple the next day. The next morning Kitta took all coconuts and went to Guruvayur temple. The temple authorities were waiting for him there. They informed him that Guruvayurappan came in the priest's dream and told to do abhishekam only with Kitta's coconut. Kitta was surprised with happiness as he learnt that it was Guruvayurappan who came to his house last night. Shri Krishna never leaves anyone in distress.

Vittala Panduranga and Narahari Sonar Narahari Sonar was a great Shiva Bhakta who lived in Pandharpur. He worshipped Mallikarjuna Shiva temple near Vittal Temple, but never wished to  look at Vithoba's temple even once. Narahari Sonar was a gold Smith who was excellent in his work.  One day a merchant who was childless offered to donate a gold kavacham to Panduranga if he is blessed with a child. His prayer was answered and merchant visited Narahari Sonar, and requested him to make kavach. But Narahari Sonar a being a Shiva Bhaktha denied this. Merchant pleaded that he will bring measurements of Panduranga so that Narahari need not come to temple.  Narahari agreed to make the jewel and made jewel with measurement provided, when it was offered to Panduranga it turned out to be very small. Measurement was taken again but this time too big. The temple priests asked to bring Narahari Sonar to take measurements. Narahari Sonar refused first,  but tieing eyes he was brought to the temple

Koppudai Amman Temple Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu Koppudai Nayaki Amman Koil is located in Karaikudi. Adi Shankaracharya, visited this temple and has installed Sri Chakra. Vigraham of Devi is made of Panchaloka, (a mixture of 5 metals).  Another uniqueness of Temple is that Utsava Moorthy and Moola Vigraham is the same. This is seen only in Chidambaram Natarajar Temple.  There were two sisters Koppudai Nayaki and Kattamma. Koppudai Nayaki treated her sister’s kids as her own.  But Kattamma didn't allow this.
