Triprayar Ekadasi Utpanna Ekadasi/ Krishna Ekadasi Ekadasi tithi in the Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month is called as Utpanna Ekadasi. In Kerala Ekadasi of Vrishchikam month is celebrated as Triprayar Ekadasi, in Triprayar Temple. Also called as Krishna Ekadasi, Ekadashi is said to have appeared on Margashirsha month from Mahavishnu to eliminate asura Murasura. Due to which this Ekadashi was named Utpanna Ekadashi. Taking vratham this day, one will attain Moksham with relieved with all the doshas. Triprayar Ekadasi Triprayar Shri Rama Temple is situated on the bank of river Theevra also called Purayar. Kamika Ekadashi Kamika Ekadashi is also called Pavitra Ekadashi. Kamika Ekadashi vratam is observed on the eleventh day of the Krishna Paksha in the Ashadha month. Ekadashi vratham comes during Chaturmas itself is very important. Yudhishithira asks Shri Krishna to explain the importance of this Vratham. Krishna tells that Bhrama Deva has mentioned the importance to Narada Muni. Once there was a conversation between Brahma Deva and Narada Muni, about benefits of keeping the Ekadashi Vratham. Story of Panduranga Vittala and Bhaktha Pundalik Once a devotee named Pundalik was traveling to Kashi and reached the Ashram of Kukkut Muni. At night Pundalik heard the voice of some women in the ashram. He came to out to look what was happening and saw that t hey were Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi rivers. Pundalik was surprised to see them. The three women told him that muni Kukkut had served his parents most faithfully and accumulated Punya enough to earn Moksha. Pundalik never cared his parents. Ashadi Ekadasi Ashadha Shukla Paksha Ekadashi  is also called as Padma Ekadashi or Devshayani Ekadashi or Maha Ekadashi. Shukla Paksha Ekadashi Tithi in Ashadha month is Ashadi Ekadasi. Ashadi Ekadasi is very important in Pandharpur Panduranga Vittal Temple. Pandharpur Ashadi Ekadasi Waari Yatra ends on this day, thus Ekadashi is also called Panduranga Ekadashi. Jakath Rakshaka Perumal Temple Thirukkoodaloor, Tamil Nadu Jakathrakshaka Perumal Temple is located at Thanjavur. Mahavishnu is worshipped here as Jakath Rakshaka Perumal and Lakshmi Devi as Padmasanavalli. Temple is one among the 108 Divya Deshams.  Sthala Puranam says that, it is here that Mahavishnu appeared as Varaha Avataram to save Bhumi Devi from Hiranyaksha. As Mahavishnu protected the world here, perumal is  worshipped as Jakath Rakshaka Perumal.  It is believed that, King Ambarisha constructed this temple as Mahavishnu saved him from Durvasa Muni. Mahavishnu send Sri Chakra to save Ambarisha from Durvasa. So perumal is also called Ambarisha Varadhar. Jackfruit tree in the temple here has a mark of shanka which is created naturally. Another story says that, Kaveri River got herself purified after praying to Mahavishnu here.  Thus whoever visits and prays in this temple are protected by Perumal.
