Kakatiya Rudreshwara Temple Warangal, Telangana Kakatiya Rudreshwara Temple also called as Ramappa Temple is at Warangal, Telangana. Craftsmanship to its excellence this is a Shiva Temple built during Kakatiyan period under rulers Rudradeva & Recharla Rudra. This is A UNESCO World Heritage Site. When every Temple is named after the diety this is perhaps the only temple which is named after it's Craftsman Ramappa. The construction which is a challenge to the researchers as light weight bricks were used even on 12th century which can float on water and can also stand in earthquake prone areas. At the entrance of the temple, we can find a Nandi mandapam. Garba Griham is naturally lit as it is arranged in such a way that reflection comes from the outer pillars. Karmanghat Hanuman Temple Hyderabad, Telengana One among the oldest Temple which Hanuman protected from Invasion... Situated at Karmanghat of Hyderabad this is a famous Hanuman temple. Kakatiya ruler while hunting heard Chanting of Ram Naama and found this sitting position of Hanuman Vigraham & prathista was done here. Pawan Putra Hanuman showers his blessing to all here. Story is related to Aurangzeb Invasion, when he couldn't enter the temple premises. Aurangzeb ordered his army to destroy the temple, his army men tried to enter the temple but some strong force stopped them. When they informed the matter to Aurangzeb he himself went to check. When reached near he heard a voice saying मंदिर तोडना है तो पहले तुम करो मन घट meaning if you want to destroy the temple first make your mind stable and powerful. Sri Rama Chandra Temple Ammapalli, Telengana Ammapalli Seetha Rama Swamy Temple is located near Hyderabad. This village is called Ammapalli because of Seetha devi. There are two ponds in this temple, & Chakra theertha is of Shri Rama. Vigraham is said to be 1000 year old. There is a large image of Mahavishnu in sleeping posture above the gateway. At entrance to main temple there is Koorma avatar which is very rare. It is believed that this temple was built by vengi chalukyas in 13th century. Vigraham of Shri Rama along with Mata Seetha and Lakshmana is seen here. Hanuman Vigraham is not seen inside the Garbha Griham, but placed near Dwaja Sthambam facing Shri Ram. Jogulamba Temple Gadwal, Telengana Alampur Jogulamba Temple is situated where rivers Tungabhadra and Krishna meet and also referred as Dakshina Kashi. Jogulamba Devi is considered as the 5th Shakti Peetha among 18 shakti peethams of Sati Devi. It is said that Sati Devi's upper teeth fell here.  Also called as Yogulamba, Devi is seen seated with scorpion, frog & lizard on the head & with her tongue stretched outside, a fierce expression that grants Siddhi. Yogula Amma in Telugu means Mother of Yogis.  The Shakti Peethas are places of worship dedicated to Devi Shakti, which are scattered throughout  many places. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Dharmapuri, Telangana  Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam is located at Dharmapuri, Telangana State. The temple is on the banks of River Godavari. Narasimhar here is Swayambhu. Sthala Puranam says that Mahavishnu took Narasimha Avataram and destroyed Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha’s anger didn’t go down even after destroying the asura king. Prahalada and many Devatas prayed for Narasimhar to calm down.  Thus Narasimhar medidated here in this place in Yoga Mudra position. Later, King Dharma Varma an ardent devotee of Mahavishnu built the temple. Temple have sannidhi of Mahavishnu, Mahadeva and Brahma Deva so it is also called Trimurthi Kshetram.  Narasimha Jayanthi,  Vaikunta Ekadasi and Karthika Pournami days are very important here.  Om Narasimhaya Namaha

Sri Peddamma Thalli Temple Hyderabad, Telengana  Sri Peddamma Thalli Temple is located in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. Lakshmi Devi is worshipped here as Santhana Lakshmi, sitting on a lion. Peddamma comes from two words ‘ Pedda and amma, means mother of children or Supreme Mother  Sthala Puranam says that, after defeating Mahishasura, Devi is said to have come here to quench her thirst. A shepherd later noticed the Vigraham of Devi here and the villagers did Prathishta of Vigraham.  Mahishasura got Brahma Deva's blessings that neither man nor god could kill him. To put an end to his cruelties, Durga Devi fought with asura as requested by Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, the Trinity. Devi fought and destroyed asura in a battle, which lasted 10 days. Bhadrakali Temple Warangal, Telengana   Temple is dedicated to Bhadrakali, ugram roopam of Parvati Devi. Temple is situated on a hillock between Warangal and Hanumakonda. It is believed that this ancient temple was originally built during the Chalukyan reign. Kakatiya rulers treated Bhadrakali as their kula devata. Bhadrakali Temple,Warangal is said to be Original Home of Kohinoor Diamond. Kakatiya rulers, fixed left eye of the devi with Kohinoor Diamond made lake called Bhadrakali Lake is built here during Kakatiya reign. Later Ganapathi Sastri, an devotee of Kali, came here from Karnataka and settled here. Seeing sad state of the temple Ganapathi Sastri, with the help of other locals rebuild the temple. It is said that vigraham is also modified by changing ugra roopam of Bhadrakali Amman to smiling face of Tripurasundari. Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple, Bhadrachalam, Telengana Sita Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam, Bhadrachalam is a famous Shri Rama temple  situated on the banks of the Godavari river. Temple is also called Dakshina Ayodhya. Sthala Puranam relates to Ramayanam where this place is a part of Dandakaranya where Shri Rama, Mata Sita & Laxmana spent their vanavasa. It is here, long after Ramavatara, Mahavishnu came as Shri Rama again to fulfil a promise he made to his bhakta Bhadra, who continued tapasya through Yugas, for darshan of Rama. Pleased by his tapasya, Shri Rama who was in search of Mata Sita, gave promise to his Bhakta of meeting him after finding Sita Devi while returning back to Ayodhya. But Rama couldn't keep his promise during Ramavatar. Seeing Bhadra doing Tapas Mahavishnu came as Vaikunta Rama. Gnana Saraswathi Temple Basar, Telengana Gnana Saraswathi Temple is located on the banks of Godavari River at Basar, Telangana. Temple is one among the 2 famous Saraswathi Temples in India, the other is Sharada Peeth.  Sthala Puranam says that, Vyasa Maharshi was  searching for a place to stay after the Kurukshetra War. He came to the Dandaka Forest and saw the area where Temple is now situated. He started tapasya here. Thus the place is also called Vasara, later called Basar. Devi asked Vyasa Muni to place 3 handfull of sand daily. With these sand Vyasa Muni made Vigraham of Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Kali and thus was Prathista done here.  Akshara Abyasa Pooja is famous in the temple. Young children are brought here and are taught  first letters here. Saraswathi Pooja, Mahashivaratri and Dussehra are very famous in the temple. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Yadagirigutta, Telangana  Yadagirigutta Narasimha Temple or Pancha Narasimha Kshetram is located in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Narasimha is worshipped here in 5 roopams, Yoganarasimha, Jwala Narasimha, Ugra Narasimha and Gandabheranda Narasimha and Lakshmi Narasimha.  Sthala Puranam says that, Yada Maharshi, son of Rishyasringa did Tapasya to Mahavishnu here. Narasimha Moorthy came here as 5 forms - Jwaalaa Narasimha, Gandabheranda Narasimha, Yogananda Narasimha, Ugra Narasimha and Lakshmi Narasimha and blessed Yada Maharshi. Yada Maharshi asked Mahavishnu to stay there in the hills.
