Thalamalai Sanjeevaraya Perumal Temple
Namakkal, Tamil Nadu
Thalamalai Sanjeevaraya Perumal Temple is located at Shivagiri hills. Mahavishnu is worshipped as Nallendra Perumal and Lakshmi Devi as Alamelu Mangai Thayaar. Upadevas are Venkatachalapathy, Mahalakshmi, Anjaneya and Garuda.
Sthala Puranam says that, during Ramayana Yuddham, Jambavan sent Hanuman to fetch the Sanjeevani, to revive the Sree Rama and Lakshmana. Unable to find the specific herb, Hanuman lifted the entire Sanjeevani mountain. When Shri Rama and Lakshmana were cured, Jambavan asked Hanuman to take the Sanjeevani Mountain back to its original place. While Hanuman was flying with mountain a part fell down here. Shri Rama also stayed here with Matha Seetha while returning to Ayodhya. He created a spring called Ramar Sunai where water never dries up.
If one takes a dip in the Kannimar Sunai a small tank, and worship Nallendra Perumal, they would not be affected of Shani Dosham.
