Chengalamma Parameshwari Kshetra
Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Chengalamma Parameshwari Kshetra is located on the banks of Kalangi River in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. Devi was earlier known by Tenkali (Dakshina Kali), and later came to be known as  Chengalamma Parameshwari.

Parvathi Devi is worshipped on the left side of the Vigraham, Mahalakshmi on the center and Saraswathi Devi on the right. Sthala Puranam says that, once a few villagers in the area found the Vigraham of Devi was floating in the river. Eventhough the villagers tried hard they couldn't move the Vigraham. But next day to everyone's surprise Vigraham, had moved and placed itself facing south towards the direction where Temple is situated now.

In remembrance of this festival called Tirunallu is celebrated. Teppolsavam is celebrated in which Chengalamma is carried in a Teppa( boat) in the kalangi river.
