Seebi Narasimha Swamy Kshetra

Narasimha Swamy Kshetra at Seebi or Sibi is located in Tumkur District of Karnataka. Narasimhar is worshipped as a Saligrama, and is facing north-east. It is believed that Sree Rama worshipped Narasimhar here. 

Sthala Puranam says that, once a merchant was traveling to this area,  stopped here where Temple is now situated. He was carrying a few boxes of grains with him, and decided to cook it on a nearby rock.

Suddenly the grains turned red colour. Narasimhar appeared in the merchant's dream and said that this is his his place and a temple should be built. Thus temple was built here. Kshetra Kulam is Gaja Pushkarini, it is said that Gajendra Moksha took place here. Those who face issues in delay marriages conduct kalyanostavam here.
