Sri Krishna Leela
Once, in a village there lived a poor man who was a farmer. He had a habbit of chanting Krishna Krishna, eventhough he didn't have any deep bhakthi. He felt a relief when saying Krishna's name, and thus continued that. After some days that place faced famine.
The farmer didn't had any work nor anything to eat. Then he heard about an astrologer and went to see him to check whether his situation will get improved. Astrologer looked at his time and suddenly became very confused and sad. He told the farmer to come back after 1 week.
Farmer went to astrologer's house after 1 week, but he was surprised to see the farmer. He asked the farmer to describe each and every incident which took place in this 1 week. Farmer told that, while returning from his house suddenly rain was coming and he seek shelter in an old temple. It was Shri Krishna temple without any pooja.
Farmer thought that if he had money he will do kumbabhishekam of this temple. While thinking all this he heard a hissing sound and saw a huge Sarpa in the roof. Frightened seeing a snake he rushed outside and suddenly the whole temple collapsed. Within a gap of second his life was saved. Astrologer fell to the farmers feet.
He told that According to his Jatakam, his death was nearing and that's why he asked to visit after 1 week. Building a Shri Krishna temple was only a pariharam, but he didn't tell it as he was already poor. It was Shri Krishna who came as Snake to protect him from danger and accepted the Kumbabhishekam which he did in his mind.
