Thrichittatt Mahavishnu Temple

Thrichittatt Mahavishnu Temple also called Thiruchenkundrur is located at Chengannur in Kerala. Temple is one among the 108 Divya Deshams. Mahavishnu is worshipped here as Imayavarappan.

Sthala Puranam says that, Yudhishtira did Prathista of Vigraham here. Temple is one among the Pancha Mahavishnu Temples where Prathista was done by Pancha Pandavas. During the Mahabharata war, Yudhishthira, who always spoke truth, lied to their Guru Dronacharya.

To relieve himself from this dosham, Yudhishtira did tapasya here to Mahavishnu. Imayavar (Devas) also came to this place and did poojas. It is said that Yudhishtira and Devas are granted darshanam here.Thus Mahavishnu is worshipped as Imayavarappar.

Prathista is done by Yudhishtira and temple is believed to have been built by Devas in the banks of Chittar. Kshetra Theertham is called Amrutha Pushkarini. Vigraham is made of Krishna Sila.

Dwaraka Tirumala Temple West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh Dwaraka Tirumala Temple is located in West Godavari District. Sri Venkateswara is Kaliyuga Vaikunta Vasa. This place is also called Chinna Tirupati meaning Small Tirupathi. Place is called Dwaraka Tirumala after a Saint Dwaraka, who found out the Swayambhu Vigraham.  Aja Maharaja, the Grand father of Sri Rama worshiped Venkateswara Sway for his marriage. But on his way to the Swayamvaram with Indumati,  he did not offer worship even while passing the temple. Aja Maharaja was forced to face a battle with other kings, but soon realized his mistake. Raja prayed to Venkateswara swamy and suddenly all the Kings stopped the battle.  Those who are not able to worship in Tirumala, worship Venkateshwara Swamy in Chinna Tirupathi, which is considered equal. Gajarajan Guruvayur Kesavan                                     Guruvayur Kesavan is one of the majestic elephants who served Guruvayurappan for 54 years. Valiya Raja of Nilambur once prayed to the Shri Krishna to save his family and property from the enemies attack and promised to offer an elephant. His wish was fulfilled and he offered an elephant which later became the famous Guruvayur Kesavan. Kesavan was 10 years old when he came. Anayottam which will be held to decide who will take Thidambu of Krishna is won by Kesavan for many years. In 1973, Kesavan was honored with title "GAJARAJAN" (king of elephants ).
