Dasarighatta Chowdeshwari Temple

Chowdeshwara temple is located at Dasarighatta of Tumkur district Karnataka. Shakti Devi is worshipped as Chowdeshwari Ammavaru here. Temple is said to be 300 years old, and Vigraham is of Panchaloham. Temple holds a great & beautiful speciality, in which we can write each and every question directly & Devi will answer our questions.

Vittala Panduranga and Narahari Sonar Narahari Sonar was a great Shiva Bhakta who lived in Pandharpur. He worshipped Mallikarjuna Shiva temple near Vittal Temple, but never wished to  look at Vithoba's temple even once. Koppudai Amman Temple Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu Koppudai Nayaki Amman Koil is located in Karaikudi. Adi Shankaracharya, visited this temple and has installed Sri Chakra. Vigraham of Devi is made of Panchaloka, (a mixture of 5 metals).  Another uniqueness of Temple is that Utsava Moorthy and Moola Vigraham is the same.
