The Seven peaks of Tirupati represents 7 heads of Adhisesha

Vrushabadri : Hill is the home of Nandi, Paramashiva's Vahana. Once there lived an Asura Vrushabhasura, who fought with Shiva who was defeated & he requested Paramashiva to name the hill after him which is Vrushabadri

Anjanadri : Anjana Devi did tapasya here & Hanuman was born after vayu deva gave her divine fruit.

Neeladri : Whoever donates hair here are blessed by Neela Devi as a wish received from Mahavishnu for offering her own hair. Giving our hair is the symbol of leaving our ego.

Garudadri : Mahavishnu instructs Garuda, his Vahana to reside here.

Seshadri: Hill is named after Adhisesha. When Vayu & Sesha had a fight, Vishnu asked Sesha to hold sikhara of Meru parvat & asks vayu to blow. Shikhar fell near river Swarnamukhi & called Seshadri / Seshachalam.

Narayanadri : Sri Vari paadam is located here. Mahavishnu first stepped here from Vaikuntam.

Venkatadri : Hill of Venkateshwara. Srinivasa resides here. Vigraham of Venkateshwara is Swayambhu & called Adhi Varaha Khsetra. Varaha sannidhi is first to be worshipped

S ignificance of Hanuman Chalisa Hanuman Chalisa is a beautiful Hymn written by Tulsidas ji, which narrates Bhakti of Hanuman towards Shri Ram, his commitment, sacrifice with Shri Ram in Heart. There are 40 verses which if chanted will relieve from all Obstacles & also effect of Shani Dosha. Those who are affected with adverse effects of Shani are supposed to recite chalisa 8 times on Saturday. These 40 verses if recited in 40 days, every prayers will be answered. It is believed that Tulasidas ji wrote Hanuman Chalisa from prison where he was kept for 40days. Gajarajan Guruvayur Kesavan                                     Guruvayur Kesavan is one of the majestic elephants who served Guruvayurappan for 54 years. Valiya Raja of Nilambur once prayed to the Shri Krishna to save his family and property from the enemies attack and promised to offer an elephant. His wish was fulfilled and he offered an elephant which later became the famous Guruvayur Kesavan. Kesavan was 10 years old when he came. Anayottam which will be held to decide who will take Thidambu of Krishna is won by Kesavan for many years. In 1973, Kesavan was honored with title "GAJARAJAN" (king of elephants ).
