The Seven peaks of Tirupati represents 7 heads of Adhisesha

Vrushabadri : Hill is the home of Nandi, Paramashiva's Vahana. Once there lived an Asura Vrushabhasura, who fought with Shiva who was defeated & he requested Paramashiva to name the hill after him which is Vrushabadri

Anjanadri : Anjana Devi did tapasya here & Hanuman was born after vayu deva gave her divine fruit.

Neeladri : Whoever donates hair here are blessed by Neela Devi as a wish received from Mahavishnu for offering her own hair. Giving our hair is the symbol of leaving our ego.

Garudadri : Mahavishnu instructs Garuda, his Vahana to reside here.

Seshadri: Hill is named after Adhisesha. When Vayu & Sesha had a fight, Vishnu asked Sesha to hold sikhara of Meru parvat & asks vayu to blow. Shikhar fell near river Swarnamukhi & called Seshadri / Seshachalam.

Narayanadri : Sri Vari paadam is located here. Mahavishnu first stepped here from Vaikuntam.

Venkatadri : Hill of Venkateshwara. Srinivasa resides here. Vigraham of Venkateshwara is Swayambhu & called Adhi Varaha Khsetra. Varaha sannidhi is first to be worshipped

Vittala Panduranga and Narahari Sonar Narahari Sonar was a great Shiva Bhakta who lived in Pandharpur. He worshipped Mallikarjuna Shiva temple near Vittal Temple, but never wished to  look at Vithoba's temple even once. Narahari Sonar was a gold Smith who was excellent in his work.  One day a merchant who was childless offered to donate a gold kavacham to Panduranga if he is blessed with a child. His prayer was answered and merchant visited Narahari Sonar, and requested him to make kavach. But Narahari Sonar a being a Shiva Bhaktha denied this. Merchant pleaded that he will bring measurements of Panduranga so that Narahari need not come to temple.  Narahari agreed to make the jewel and made jewel with measurement provided, when it was offered to Panduranga it turned out to be very small. Koppudai Amman Temple Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu Koppudai Nayaki Amman Koil is located in Karaikudi. Adi Shankaracharya, visited this temple and has installed Sri Chakra. Vigraham of Devi is made of Panchaloka, (a mixture of 5 metals).  Another uniqueness of Temple is that Utsava Moorthy and Moola Vigraham is the same. This is seen only in Chidambaram Natarajar Temple.  There were two sisters Koppudai Nayaki and Kattamma. Koppudai Nayaki treated her sister’s kids as her own.  But Kattamma didn't allow this.
